Tony Dungy’s comments about Michael Sam are misguided, gutless.

Tony Dungy is a former Super Bowl winning professional football coach who also played in the league. He is a well respected man who is well-known for his conservative Christian beliefs, and he often speaks at churches across the country regarding his convictions.

Yesterday he was asked about Michael Sam, the openly gay player from Missouri who was drafted by the St. Louis Rams this past spring. Specifically he was asked if he would have drafted Sam.
