Beatles Song of the Day: “Revolution 9”

This was an experimental piece that John Lennon wrote for the White Album. It is, unquestionably, the weirdest composition The Beatles ever recorded. Although John once called it “the music of the future”, Paul McCartney and Beatles producer George Martin hated it and tried to keep it off the album. If you’ve never heard it be forewarned – it’s creepy as hell.
