Map of the Day: Maps Are Wrong

Yeah, those Mercator maps are all wrong, at least where countries and their sizes are concerned. It’s the countries to the far north and south that are all jacked up. As an example, the United Kingdom is less than half the size of Madagascar although you wouldn’t know it by looking at a regular map. Check it:
