These images were captured by a Trail Cam set up by photographer Will Burrard-Lucas in Kenya, and they’re the first photographs taken of a Black Panther since 1909. The animal’s color is due to a condition called melanism, a gene mutation that results in an over-production of pigment. It’s the opposite of albinism.
