So I was perusing the worldwide internet machine last night when I came across what was, to me, an amazing bit of information. Although there’s some debate, most experts are close to agreeing when estimating the amount of gold that exists in the world.

The answer?

Imagine a giant box if you will, with sides that are 68-feet tall and 68-feet wide. Half a football field is 150-feet, so that’s not very big. 68-feet is about 22-yards.

That’s it. All the gold in the world.

Does this shock anyone but me? What am I missing here? Everyone has gold jewelry of some sort, right? And we’ve all seen the stacks of gold bars in Fort Knox and Saudi princes palaces.

What am I missing here?
