Here’s my take on this kid. I love him. He just hit a ball that would have been out at Great American Ballpark and what did he do? Ran around the bases like he was just doing his job. No celebrating, no primping and jumping around, no pointing at the pitcher. Just pure class after making contact that sounded like a rifle shot. Well done Terrence Gist. Well done indeed.

Note: Did you see the pitcher high-five the kid after he rounded third? If I’d done that after a kid hit a 400-foot home run off me my dad would have beat my ass. Have some pride, little guy.
