Cool Animal of the Day: The Pink Fairy Armadillo

The Pink Fairy Armadillo is the smallest of the armadillos, and I can’t decide if it’s cute or butt-ugly. I mean, it’s kind of cool looking but on the other hand it sort of looks like a rat with a horrific growth on it’s back. The Pink Fairy Armadillo is a helluva burrower, and like all armadillos it can curl into a ball. In this case that ball would be about the size of a baseball, since he’s only about 4-inches long.
